ESC Region 15 covers a stretch of West Texas bigger than several states, centered on San Angelo. The people behind The Connecting Pod have sat in its small-district ARD rooms, watched referrals stack up every October, and seen what happens to a family when an evaluation arrives late or in the wrong language.
The Connecting Pod was built inside that reality, not imported into it.
The answer was not another staffing agency, and not another software subscription. It was a care platform: a way for a district to buy exactly the licensed help it needs, at a price it can see, with a record it can defend.
Difference, or disorder?
A large share of West Texas students grow up in Spanish-speaking homes, and the question that decides their educational future cannot be answered through an interpreter. Bilingual capability is not a feature here; it is the founding constraint.
