For Providers
Your license. Your schedule. Your county.
The Connecting Pod matches licensed SLPs, OTs, LSSPs, diagnosticians, and counselors with West Texas districts that need you, without the agency games.
What working with us looks like
See the rate before you accept
Every assignment shows its rate up front. No mystery margins, no negotiating from the back foot.
Set your availability, blackout your summer!
Your hours, your counties, your caseload cap. Work doesn't come unless it fits.
Paperwork in minutes, not evenings
Session notes built for a phone in a school parking lot. Sign it, submit it, done.
Work that matters
Rural kids wait months for evaluations. You're the difference.
Se buscan evaluadores bilingües.
Bilingual providers go to the front of the line. Your Spanish is the scarcest skill in Texas schools.
Honest onboarding timeline
Application to first assignment

About 30 minutes: license details, experience, the counties you'll serve.
License verification
We verify your license against the state board. Usually a matter of days.
DPS fingerprinting
The long pole: 1 to 2 weeks. We guide you through scheduling it.
First assignment

What providers ask us
- Am I an employee or a contractor?
- Providers work with The Connecting Pod as independent contractors (1099). You control your schedule and accept only the assignments you choose.
- Who supervises assistants?
- Certified assistants work under the supervision Texas licensure requires, and the supervising clinician is named in the assignment and the documentation.
- How far would I have to travel?
- You set your coverage radius and counties. Teletherapy assignments need no travel at all; on-campus work only comes from inside the area you chose.
- How does pay work, and when?
- The rate is visible on the assignment before you accept. You document each session, the campus accepts the work, and payment follows the agreed schedule with every line traceable.
